Dave Egger's TED Talk
I agree with Dave's idea of more one on one attention for students. I remember when I was in 7th grade in Douglas County schools and one middle school had over 1100 students for only 7th and 8th grade. Each class had over 35 students so there wasn't any one on one time for anyone. When it came to learning lessons you either comprehended it the first time or you didn't. I noticed he started talking more fluently once he got over his nerves. He moved around A LOT more than I thought he needed to, but everyone responds to nerves differently. He said ' you know' like we already know about his idea he's speaking about, which started to annoy me because no I don't know what you mean every time you say that.
